Aut Aut contribution is part of the huge transformation project of an existing office complex into a residential block of 184 apartments. The building, positioned in the proximity of the former Cecchignola Military District, was built during the ‘70s with a quite brutalist façade system, unsuitable for the new residential purpose.
Aut Aut intervened in a late stage, developing the interior design starting from a preliminary mandatory layout. Hence, the project targeted the improvement of the spaces, the selection of materials, the definition of the atmosphere of the apartments, and the design of the common spaces. Beyond the interiors, a landscaped roof terrace has been designed as a characterizing element of the entire intervention. Moreover aut–aut contributed to improve the preliminary façade design.
